Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hart!

So, I'm a little behind in my blogging, but it's for good reason - I've been celebrating my friends and getting time with my parents. More on time with the 'rents later, but for now...

On January 10, 2009, Meaghan Foy and Tim Hart pledged themselves to one another till death do them part! Wahoo! (Insert joyful overture here.) I didn't have a huge part in this wedding, so I was able to take some pictures, but I also stole a few again from my friend Michelle, who was the head photographer for the whole shindig. She did a great job!
This wasn't posed, but I actually like it better than all of the posed ones. I think the smiles on both of their faces are exactly what I think of when I think of these two.
Still, the posed ones are pretty fun, too. :)
I loved reconnecting with friends like Joanna... (who, by the way, is REALLY fun to dance with, particularly if it involves rolling on the floor)
...and Amy...(who should be the next pro on Dancing With the Stars)
...and Robin (who sings back to me when I sing at her on the dance floor).
Speaking of dancing, the newly married Mullarkeys were crowd-pleasers, as usual...
...and my friend Mike graciously taught me some swing. I love dancing with someone who knows what they're doing (and who doesn't mind too much that I don't). This was definitely one highlight of the evening.

Other highlights include:
- finding myself on the dance floor with most of my Bible study girls
- getting to catch up a bit with a couple of said Bible study girls
- sitting next to the Meisters - Heather has become my wedding buddy :)
- clinking our glasses incessantly with the result of increasingly passionate kisses from the bride and groom
- being a witness to the start of this dear couple's married life

It brings me such joy when God chooses to draw two of His children together, and I love it when they choose to glorify Him as they make their vows to one another. It was quite a pleasure to get to be there for this one. Congrats Tim and Meaghan!

I'm only mildly offended that I wasn't one of those included on your blog of one of your favorite people to dance with...
:-)

That was a fun wedding.
