Another thought...

...Praise God for men. Praise God for men who are willing to serve, even when there's nothing in it for them. Last weekend, Jonny Mo came and helped me hack into a zillion weeds that had grown up in the yard of my house in Tucson. Bryce and Jay singlehandedly loaded all of my furniture into a perfectly packed 16' moving truck. Then, Bryce drove said moving truck all the way to San Diego, just to hop right onto a plane back to Tucson.

We ended up being able to get into our house this afternoon at 4:00. We asked around for some help, and were thinking that we might have two guys show up to help unload said moving truck. Dave, Will, Travis, Peter and Pat (that's FIVE guys!) showed up and unpacked that truck in 15 minutes. When we asked if they were willing to get another load, they were all more than willing, and we moved almost our entire house. To unload, reload, and unload again, with a dinner break in the middle, took less than four hours. It was unreal.

And, honestly, it wasn't just that I was grateful for stronger arms than mine to do the heavy lifting. I was just as grateful (if not more so) for how these men cared for me, even though in some cases I hadn't even met them! I felt cared for, and protected, and served, and blessed beyond belief.

I'll say it again. Praise God for men.
