Sick and Tired

This past weekend we went to our annual regional conference in Pine Valley, California. This year there were four speakers doing one session each, rather than one speaker for four sessions. Unfortunately, I missed some of the speakers, because I was working on registration, t-shirts and money collection. However, the talks I did hear were really good. I was especially hit by a talk given by Kyu-Ho Lee on living in the world. One of my favorite things he said was that we should live in the world because Jesus is in the world. When we live in the world, we can experience Jesus in ways we couldn't if we stayed in our Christian bubbles. It really hit me where I feel like I'm at.

Another thing that hit me was a cold. I'm fighting it with everything I've got - Airborne three times daily, a Coldbuster smoothie from Jamba juice with two Immunity Boosts and an Antioxidant Power Boost, and extra sleep. I hate getting sick, but getting sick before a trip to visit my sister in Seattle (I leave on Thursday!!) is just unacceptable.

So, I'm sick and I'm tired. I'm sick and tired. I'd better go take another dose of Airborne...
