So...this weekend I'm going to a Young Life Leader's training conference at Knott's Berry Farm.
"But Krista," you say, "you are not a Young Life leader. Nor are you training to become one. Why, pray tell, are you going to this conference?"
I've asked myself the same question, my friends. It turns out that my beloved Young Life leaders from high school are moving to San Diego to start up a ministry at SDSU. Coincidence, or precious blessing from the hand of God? I'll let you decide... Actually, I can't leave the possibility of human error to lead you to the wrong conclusion. This is a HUGE BLESSING from the Lord! So, anyway, I reconnected with them in the light of this wonderful news, and they invited me to join them this weekend. I responded with the above line of reasoning, and they countered with "We know. Come anyway. Get time with us, and meet new people."
So, here I go. Krista 2.0 (as coined by one Timothy Lin) is on her way to meet MORE new people, and step out of her comfort zone even MORE. Praise the Lord that He is found even in the unknown.

And happy we were that you came to the YL party. Felt exactly the same way you did :) Sorry all these babies got in the way of me joining in all of the festivities, but we'll get to talk soon since we're moving to San Diego tomorrow at 8am :) See you tomorrow...
