Wedding Weekend, Round 1

Here's what you've all been waiting for...starting with a few engagment shots and the rehearsal. All of these photos were taken by Callie - www.achorandeden.com.
Who is that, standing in the first pew? Why, the wedding coordinator, of course! From the rehearsal, we made our way to John and Jen's backyard for the rehearsal dinner. The Byards graciously allowed us to use their home, even though they were on a trip, and it was the perfect setting.I was so excited to find the hanging candle lanterns at Pier One, and I thought they set a beautiful tone. Karen, Berry's mom, made the favors - boxes of goodies wrapped with the perfect colors of ribbon. The whole mood was festive yet elegant, and it made for a great evening. I couldn't have pulled it off without Jen and Allison, who oversaw the setup while I was directing the rehearsal, so big shout-out to them.

Classically goofy Ann, with her folks.

Yummy Mexican food buffet.
As the evening waned, Ann and Berry gave gifts to their families and bridal party members. Here's Ann with her sisters. After the gifts, a time for sharing was opened up, and I had a chance to read a passage from my journal where I had written that I thought Ann and Berry would get married this summer. That wouldn't be too remarkable, except that I wrote it on January 30th. Ann and Berry met on January 24th.
Our time was rounded out with prayer for the couple, for the next day, and for the many years to come within their marriage.
Stay tuned for more pics to come...
